Kings Finals 2025 + AGM

Kings Finals is the culmination of the Kings Ski season and takes place over the course of an entire day.
On the racing side all teams who have qualified or been given wildcards will compete in our patented duals slalom races until one team takes home the overall victory. On top of this all competitors for a qualified team get entry into a timed individual competition.
On the vibe side we have DJs playing music on the side of the slope throughout the day along with food and drinks available. There’ll also be entertainment for us officials as we host a nautical ship themed competition each university can compete in, as well as whatever other competitions we come up with.
Once competitions are all over (7pmish) - Prizegiving will be hosted on site in Silksworth. We will be having our official afterparty in Newcastle City Centre, venue tbc giving yourselves plenty of time to get showered, fed and hydraulically promoted

The number of teams each club can bring will be dependent on how many they’ve qualified from regionals and / or how many WC slots they’ve been given
Each team entered entitles it’s competitors in entry to the timed individuals:
1 mixed team == 5 individual ski slots (male / female)
1 ladies team == 4 individual slots (female)
1 board team == 3 boarder slots (male / female)
The number of teams can be changed until 2 weeks before the event, captains will receive a reminder of this through whatsapp channels.
After this date you will be invoiced for the number of tickets you’ve requested, regardless of whether you use them or not. Extra spectator/afterparty takes may be available on the day, no guarantees!

Q: Can anyone race at Kings Finals?
A: Competitor entry to Finals is dependent on either having qualified through the Kings season or at the discretion of the league heads / race director through a wildcard (see below).
Q: What if my region has been running individual snowboarding this season
A: Currently the duals competition at Kings is team only. If your region has been running individual competitions at regional events this year we will allow different clubs from the same region to join together to form a mongrel team e.g. Bath + UWE = BUWE
Kings AGM
Kings AGM is being hosted on Sunday 27th April. Any captains / committee from a club are welcome to come and participate to have their say in the future of Kings.
Exact details tbd, please get in touch if you are keen to attend. Attendance via videoconferencing will be available. Rough details are:
