Kings Finals marks the culmination of the Kings Ski season and is held over a full day, featuring a series of interregional competitions.
On the racing side, all teams that have qualified or received wildcards will compete in our uniquely thrilling dual slalom races until one team remains for each discipline. Additionally, all competitors from a qualified team will gain entry into a timed individual competition that runs concurrently throughout the day. Prize giving will happen on site at the end of the day before heading into Newcastle for our Flügel x Kings afterparty - more information below!

Afterparty
This year, Kings are thrilled to announce that we will be partnering with the lovely people at Flügel to provide gate bashers, race watchers, friends, and family with an epic Après experience at Newcastle’s very own World HQ!
Flügel has been making waves across the home isles recently with events all over, and they have kindly offered to keep the athletes and co. of Kings entertained all night after a lively competition on Silksworth Summit. Open from 23:00 and closing at 03:00 - be there or be a summer sport.

Tickets cost £5 per person and can be bought directly through this link (ONCE ALL SET UP SEE ABOUT HOW BEST LAID OUT) and will be available through qr codes on the day of Finals. (ADD IN ANYHTING HERE ABOUT INCENTIVES OR GROUP BOOKINGS)
On the day’s vibey side - we are happy to have Red Bull partnered with us to supply their DJ trucks and classic energy-enhancing sundries to keep us all of us powered throughout the day!
Music will start at 10 am and stay until the end of racing.
Attendees may have noticed that across all the leagues throughout the year, Red Bull has been appearing to support Kings and provide you with the best racing experience possible! Keep an eye on our socials for DJ announcements, and remember that a more alert official can spot your opponents' dsq’smore easily!

The number of teams each club can bring will be dependent on how many they’ve qualified from regionals and/or how many wildcard slots they’ve been given
Each team entered entitles its competitors to entry in the timed individuals:
1 mixed team == 5 individual ski slots (at least one of each male / female)
1 ladies team == 4 individual slots (female)
1 board team == 3 boarder slots (any combination of male / female)
The number of teams can be changed until 2 weeks before the event, captains will receive a reminder of this through WhatsApp channels.
Invoicing for clubs will take place after Finals and will adhere to the rules and dates specified in the registration form and according to the standard Kings rules.

Q: Can anyone race at Kings Finals?
A: Competitor entry to Finals is dependent on either having qualified through the Kings season or at the discretion of the league heads / race director through a wildcard (form at top of page).
Q: What if my region has been running individual snowboarding this season
A: Currently the duals competition at Kings is team only. If your region has been running individual competitions at regional events this year we will allow different clubs from the same region to join together to form a mongrel team e.g. Bath + UWE = BUWE
Kings AGM
Kings AGM is being hosted on Sunday 3rd May. Any captains / committee from a club are welcome to come and participate to have their say in the future of Kings.
